Help Please!

I bought one from Lion's Den, plugged it in to charge when I got home. The light was flashing and when it turned solid blue, I took it off the charger and held the powrr button, but it didn't react. I haven't been able to get it to turn on and it's never been used. Any suggestions on how to get it working?
